Honduras Chapter of Partners of the Americas

In July and August 2024, Dr. Tom Griggs, PhD, MA, a dedicated member of the Colorado Chapter and  Education and Second Language Education Associate Professor Emeritus at the University of Northern Colorado, visited Honduras on a Professional Travel Grant hosted by the Honduras Chapter of Partners of the Americas and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Partners of the Americas, and the Colorado Chapter. This visit focused on providing English language instruction to English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers at a local Comayagua university, meeting the local authorities of Comayagua, and other activities in La Paz and Tegucigalpa.

This initiative aimed to enhance the teaching skills of local educators, equipping them with the tools and methodologies needed to improve English language education in their communities. This exchange reflects our chapter's commitment to fostering educational excellence and cross-cultural collaboration in Latin America.
