In August 2024, Colorado Chapter President Nicolás Arízaga, MA, traveled to Lima, Chiclayo, and Lambayeque, Peru, on a Professional Travel Grant hosted by the Peru Chapter and the Red Internacional de Estudiantes por la Paz - Red Espaz Peru, to strengthen ties with local communities, promote civil society engagement, and advance inclusive economic growth, entrepreneurship, language teaching, and leadership development initiatives.

Nicolás' work in Peru was a vital part of his overall efforts, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Peru, the U.S. Department of State, Partners of the Americas, and the Colorado Chapter to foster sustainable development and empower communities across Latin America. His dedication to building solid and lasting partnerships exemplifies the values at the heart of our organization.
